Can Teeth Really Re-Align in Six Months?

All of us want a beautiful smile with straight pearly whites but some of us are less fortunate in having straight teeth naturally. And many of those folks who have considered getting braces are discouraged because the traditional braces treatment time is around two-plus years in average.

Today, I would like to introduce you to the latest technology called Powerprox Six Months Braces that will move your teeth quickly and safely in about six months or so.
Powerprox employs new techniques which results in reduction of time it will take to achieve successful results. The nickle titanium arch-wire that is leveraged retains the shape that is defined to an end-state. The arch-wire is then placed on the misaligned teeth. The arch-wire will want to go back to the initial shape thus moving the teeth. This results in low-force application that will safely and comfortably move the teeth compared to the high-force exerted by traditional “tightening” of the braces.
In addition, the Powerprox Six Month Braces utilize clear brackets with white arch-wire versus the metal brackets and metal wires used by the traditional braces. The clear braces blend with your teeth making them nearly invisible. We can also use lingual braces which are placed behind your teeth so no one can see them.
So, with this innovative technique, your teeth can be realigned in about six months. Some misaligned cases that are minor in severity can be completed even as little as three to four months, while some severe cases may require up to 9 months. As everyone’s case is different, the feasibility and the more accurate duration can only be determined with an in-person consultation.  If deemed feasible, first bracket placement appointment will last around one and a half hours to two hours after which will be every four weeks with each appointment being 15 to 20 minutes long.
